# How to place banner?

Follow these steps to place a banner in your FiveM GTA V server:

1. **Open Banner Menu**: Navigate to `./banners` in your server directory.
2. **Select a Banner**: Choose any banner from the list and click on the "Editor" button.
3. **Edit Banner**: The menu will close, and you'll see the selected banner in front of you. Use the options below to manipulate it:
   * Press `Backspace` to exit from the editor.
   * Scroll up to increase the size of the banner.
   * Scroll down to decrease the size of the banner.
   * Press `E` to place the banner.
   * Note: Help keys will be displayed in the upper left corner of your screen.
4. **Placement**: The banner placement is based on your player camera. Aim where you want to place the banner, and it will appear in that location as shown in the preview.
5. **Troubleshooting**: If you encounter any issues with placing the banner, a message will appear explaining why you cannot place it. Keep it simple and summarize the message. Ensure your placement adheres to the rules of the server.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://documentation.rcore.cz/paid-resources/rcore_banners/guides/how-to-place-banner.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
