# How to Update

> Follow these exact steps to avoid breaking everything.

### 1. 🛑 Make a Backup

**Before doing anything**, create a backup of your old banners resource.

* Go to your `resources` folder.
* Find these folders:
  * `[banners]`
  * `rcore_banners`
  * `rcore_banners_assets`
* Right-click → **Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder**.
* Name it something like `banners_backup.zip`.

✅ Now you're safe in case something goes wrong.

### 2. 🧹 Delete the Old Banners

* Delete the following folders from your `resources` folder:
  * `[banners]`
  * `rcore_banners`
  * `rcore_banners_assets`

⚠️ Make sure they're **really gone** before continuing.

### 3. ⬇️ Download the Latest Version

* Go to your [**Keymaster Portal**](https://keymaster.fivem.net/).
* Download the **latest version** of the banners resource.
* You’ll get a `.zip` file — open it.

### 4. 📁 Install the New Banners

* Inside the ZIP, find the `[banners]` folder.
* Drag and drop it into your `resources` folder.

### 5. 📁 Enjoy your updated banners
