Step by step documentation how to properly update your prison resource

Make a Backup

Before doing anything, create a backup of your old prison resource.

• Go to your resources folder.

• Find these folders:

  • [prison]

• Right-click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.

• Name it something like prison_backup.zip.

✅ Now you're safe in case something goes wrong.

Delete the Old Prison

• Delete the following folders from your resources folder:

  • [prison]

⚠️ Make sure they're really gone before continuing.

Download and Install the Latest Version

• Download the latest version of the resource from CFX Portal.

• Move the new [prison] folder into your resources folder.
