# Duty

The duty bridge is used to toggle an officer's on/off duty status. Unlike most bridges, it doesn't hook a third-party resource - it's tied directly to the detected [Framework](/paid-resources/rcore_police/integrations/framework.md), since duty state is handled internally.

## 🔎 Auto Detection

```lua
Config.Duty = AUTO_DETECT
```

Auto-detection priority (first match wins): `ESX` → `QBCORE` → `QBOX`.

Override with the matching constant if detection picks the wrong one:

| Constant      | Resource                                            |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| `Duty.ESX`    | `es_extended`                                       |
| `Duty.QBCORE` | `qb-core`                                           |
| `Duty.QBOX`   | `qbx_core`                                          |
| `Duty.NONE` | No framework found - runs on the standalone bridge. |
