{% hint style="info" %}
Most servers only need to touch `config.lua`. Don't change the other files unless you have a specific reason.

## Best Practices

* **Backup Before Making Changes:** Always create a backup of any configuration file before making modifications. This ensures you can revert to the original settings if something goes wrong.
* **Understand the Configuration:** Before editing a config file, make sure you understand what each setting does. Refer to the specific config file's documentation for detailed explanations.
* **Test After Changes:** After modifying any configuration file, test the changes in a controlled environment to ensure they work as expected without causing issues.
