How to Update

Step by step guide how to properly update your resource.

Make a Backup

• Go to your 📁resources folder

• Find these folders:

  • rcore_fuel_assets

  • rcore_fuel

• Right-click → Send to → Compressed (zipped) folder.

• Name it something like fuel_backup.zip

• Also dont forget to backup your database before updating!

Delete the old Fuel folders

• Delete those folders from your 📁resources folder:

  • rcore_fuel_assets

  • rcore_fuel

Download and install the latest version

• Download new version of the resource from CFX Portal.

• Move the new rcore_fuel_assets and rcore_fuel folders to your 📁resources folder.

Set up the new installed config

• When you have installed the latest version of the script, set up the new config.lua as you had it before.

⚠️ Always review the config file after copying it, as some settings may have changed in newer versions.
