# Roles and Access

Roles control what players can do inside a lab.

## 👤 Player Roles

Default role keys:

| Role                 | Allows                     |
| -------------------- | -------------------------- |
| `lab_owner`          | Owns the lab.              |
| `lab_access`         | Can enter the lab.         |
| `tablet_access`      | Can use tablet features.   |
| `station_access`     | Can use stations.          |
| `storage_access`     | Can use storage.           |
| `stash_access`       | Can use stash.             |
| `deals_access`       | Can use deal features.     |
| `notebook_access`    | Can use notebook features. |
| `missions_can_start` | Can start missions.        |
| `upgrades_can_buy`   | Can buy upgrades.          |

## 🔐 Assign Access

Use `/drugs_admin` to assign access to:

* individual players
* jobs
* gangs

## 👥 Group Access

Group access supports:

| Group type | Description                                                 |
| ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Job        | Framework job and optional minimum grade.                   |
| Gang       | Framework or `rcore_gangs` gang and optional minimum grade. |

`lab_owner` cannot be assigned as a group role.
